Whether you’re a first-time or returning customer, you may have some questions about the enrollment process for 2015. The following are some of the most common questions we’ve been asked about Covered California Open Enrollment this year.

Last year I became really frustrated with the website, couldn’t get through on the call line, and faster this year.

My work provides insurance. Do I need to do anything? Your human resources department at work handles all insurance issues. Unless you receive a notice (watch your mail) about changes to your plan, you probably don’t have to do anything.

I didn’t want health insurance last year, but I do now. How do I get started? Log on to the Covered California website andy when you apply.

I like the plan that I purchased last year. Do I need to do anything? Your plan should automatically renew. All you need to do is log into your account and update your financial information.

I don’t like my health insurance plan. What should I do? Log in to your Covered California account and compare insurance policies. Several new plans have been added to the menu of options, so you may find one that better suits your needs. Remember to input your updated financial information so that your subsidy, if you get one, can be correctly calculated.
